Instead of the typical faces of old men (seriously, no gender diversity in 250 years??) on United States bills, the Cascadian bills feature native birds in the center oval with topographic maps of major peaks behind. Each bill has the striped colors of the Cascadian flag along the bottom, and the main color evokes a different landscape of the region.
